We offer regular vacancies in the following fields of expertise:

 

Accounting & Controlling: This is where our specialist team for accounting, controlling and regulatory reporting works. It ensures the compliance of the accounting principles and is responsible for the whole regulatory reporting of the bank. In addition, operational and strategic planning figures as well as ad hoc reports are prepared here for local management and our headquarters in Vietnam. 

Anti Money Laundering: Our AML team identifies and analyzes suspected cases of money laundering and ensures that all departments work in accordance with the legally required standards.

Credit: Our Credit Department manages all matters related to lending, such as reviewing and updating credit limits, assessing risk-related information, analyzing credit risks, and preparing loan and collateral agreements. It also ensures the implementation of effective and sustainable governance and control systems in that regard.

Customer Administration: The Customer Administration team is the first point of contact for our customers. It processes and manages requests relating to all administrative and non-financial transactions, such as opening, managing and closing of accounts, competently answers customer inquiries and forwards department-specific concerns.

Customer Relationship Management: Our Customer Relationship Managers are responsible for establishing, constantly maintaining and expanding business relationships with companies - both nationally and internationally - and thus make a significant contribution to promoting economic relations between Germany and Vietnam. The holistic consulting approach is individually adapted to the wishes and needs of companies and includes, among others, the areas of foreign trade financing, credit business, project financing, treasury, and payment transactions.

Human Resources: The Human Resources Department looks after all the needs of our employees. This includes personnel planning, recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, the monthly payroll process, employee development. More than that, it supports and advices managers and employees on all human resources issues.

Information Security: Our information security officers create information security policies for our bank and ensure compliance with them. They advise local management on defining and adapting information security governance, participate in IT-relevant projects, and initiate training and awareness-raising measures on these topics.

IT: The IT Department ensures that our bank's IT systems run smoothly, provides support and assigns access rights to our employees. In addition, IT is involved in projects during the rollout of new systems and is responsible for the compliance with information security policies. 

Operations: Our Operations Department acts as an interface to all departments, and especially IT, to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day business and its successful continuation in all situations. Daily tasks include the planning and management of all internal bank processes, workflows and documents as well as outsourcing management in cooperation with service providers and IT outsourcing partners. Office and building management as well as contract management are also part of the operational activities.

Risk Management: Our Risk Management Department supports General Management in the design and implementation of the Bank’s risk management strategies and objectives and ensures soundness of business activities through controlling the risks in an integrated manner. The members of the Risk Management team are known for their pragmatic approach, have a head for figures and an analytical mindset.

Transaction Banking: The Transaction Banking team is responsible for incoming and outgoing SWIFT and SEPA transactions and ensures that they are executed in full compliance with international practices and legal requirements. It manages and documents trade finance and collaborates with correspondent banks.

Treasury: Our treasury team is responsible for handling all foreign exchange transactions and money market activities and also builds good business relationships with other banks. It manages VietinBank's funding position and assets and liabilities and is responsible for liquidity management and optimization of the bank’s account balances.
