Required documents: 

• Original passport with valid visa 

• Original registration certificate from the citizens' registration office (registration certificate, registration, etc.) 

• Original notification of your personal tax number from the citizens' registration office (assignment of identification number). 

Activation methods

• Online activation in your personal customer area via video call in German/English. 

• Activation at the Frankfurt or Berlin branch. 

• Please log in to your personal customer area and follow the instructions to activate your account. 
• If you have any questions, send an email to “info@vietinbank.de” and provide your full name, date of birth, and the instructions for activating the online blocked account. 

• Customers must bring the original documents listed above with them. 
• Please arrive one hour before the bank closes; no appointment is necessary. 
• For groups of more than four people, please make an appointment by email or phone.
