VietinBank accompanies the festival " Vietnam Land of Dragons" in Potsdam (Germany) as the main sponsor.

On August 3, the 2013 Asian Cultural Festival was held under the theme of "Fire and Water" on Friendship Island in Potsdam. This year, Vietnam took over the organization of the festival so that the color characteristics of a Vietnamese cultural festival were incorporated.

Recognizing that the festival is a good opportunity to introduce Vietnamese culture and people to the German society and to promote the activities of Vietnamese society in Germany, VietinBank contributed as one of the main sponsors.

Following the dragon and dance performance "Vietnam- my homeland", Her Excellency Ambassador Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh opened the event. In her opening speech, she highlighted the special features of the cultural event and thanked the Brandenburg State Government, Potsdam City Government and sponsors for their support so far.

Representatives of the Brandenburg state government and Potdam city government paid tribute to the integration and contribution of the Vietnamese community, which contributed to the economic growth of the region and led to the cultural enrichment of the region.

Afterwards, the parade took place, in which hundreds of actors, dressed in colorful traditional costumes, participated. They accompanied the traditional copper jug and carried the fire and water to the ancestral Lac Long Quan and Au Co. During the opening ceremony, visitors enjoyed many other attractive performances and activities, including dance with bamboo hats, traditional singing, art works, defense sports, etc., which were well received by international friends and Vietnamese spectators.

The opening ceremony was successfully concluded with the event program "Fire and Water" initiated by German artists. The exhibition of poems from the time of the Ly and Tran dynasties and the presentation of traditional costumes of different population groups will continue until August 16.
